My neighbour behind me talked me into removing
the fir tree that sits essentially on our property line. It's more
on my side but it's so big now that it's pushing her fence over. I
had misgivings about removing the tree, since it's a healthy, happy
tree, but it IS hard to grow grass under it and it DOES rain a lot of
crap (cones and needles) onto my shed. She offered to pay half so
I agreed.

And here is the after photo, essentially
the same angle. I'm still not sure this was a good idea. Now I get more late day sun on my deck, which some people might think is good, but with the hot weather we've been having it's not very fun. However, there's no point in grumbling about it now because what's done is done. Now I'll have nicer grass, right? |
